About ASP Performance
More Than Just a Shop
ASP Performance started with a passion for cars and has grown into something much bigger than we ever expected.
My name is Tyler, and I’m one of the owners of ASP Performance, an independent automotive repair shop located in Sanford, Maine.
But ASP Performance isn't something I built alone.
My business partner and co-owner, Ryan, has been an essential part of ASP Performance and everything we've built over the years. His hard work, knowledge, and dedication to the business have helped shape ASP Performance into what it is today. I can confidently say that without Ryan, ASP Performance would not be where it is today.
Together, we've built the business from our shared passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to doing things the right way. While we've developed a strong reputation around Subaru's over the years, today we service and repair a wide range of makes and models while continuing to specialize in the cars that helped build our name.
For us, ASP Performance has always been about doing things the right way, taking pride in our work, and building something of our own.
The Cars & Racing
Cars have always been much more than a business for me.
Outside of the shop, one of my biggest passions is drag racing and continuing to push my 2007 Subaru STI further. What was originally supposed to be a daily-driven car quickly turned into a high-horsepower build that has accomplished more at the track than I ever expected, running well into the 9-second range while still retaining the identity of the car that started it all.
That car—and everything that goes along with building, breaking, improving, and racing it—has become a huge part of the ASP Performance story.
Flat4_Games & Social Media
More recently, I started sharing more of that journey through Flat4_Games on social media.
What began as simply posting videos of the STI, the shop, racing, and behind-the-scenes moments has grown into an awesome community of people who share the same passion for cars.
The support on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and everywhere else has encouraged me to keep creating, keep racing, and take things to the next level.
Why We Created the Store
This store is another extension of that journey.
Our apparel and merchandise are designed around ASP Performance, Flat4_Games, our cars, and the automotive community we've built along the way.
When you purchase something from our store, you're doing more than buying a shirt, sweatshirt, sticker, or piece of merchandise. You're directly supporting our business, our racing program, and the content we continue to create.
We're still a small business. We're still working on cars, building cars, going racing, making videos, and figuring things out as we go.
And that's exactly what I want this brand to represent.
